Sunny Cuddles and the Peanut Butter Heart Cookies
Thursday, February 13, 2014
Giant Teddy bears are some of the sweetest, most adorable, cuddly soft bears you'll ever meet. They come in all sizes and colors, and they love to have fun and bring people joy.
But they take their cookies pretty seriously.
And today, all the big teddy bears at Giant Teddy were in an uproar. Once again, lovable Sunny Cuddles had eaten every single cookie in the Teddy Bear break room before lunch, and none of the other bears got any.
He was found under his desk covered in crumbs, sleepy and unable to do his work (that's his usual hiding spot for a nap.)
Sunny Cuddles was very sorry, and promised to bake more right away. Since it was close to Valentine's Day, he decided to make something with hearts. What he came up with is so easy, even a big teddy bear can whip them up in no time.
Sunny wrote out his recipe and is willing to share it with you.
"Hi, it's me, Sunny Cuddles... these cookies are Pawsome! You've got to try them. And be sure to share them with your Giant Teddy bear, OK?"
Sunny Cuddles' Peanut Butter Heart Cookies
Only 4 ingredients, ready in minutes!- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar (or equivalent substitute, like Swerve)
- 1 large egg
- Chocolate heart candies
Mix the first 3 together, use a small cookie scoop to scoop out balls and put them on a non-stick foil lined pan, spaced about 2-3 inches apart.
Press a chocolate heart into the center of each ball to flatten the cookies.
Bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes. They won't seem "cooked" but these don't have flour. Let cool (at least a little) and then share them with someone you love - maybe with your teddy bear!
All the big bears loved the cookies, and forgave Sunny Cuddles.
If you don't share your life with a Giant Teddy bear, you are missing out on amazing fun and sweet cuddly hugs.
