Monday, May 5, 2014
Giant Teddy bears have appeared on several hit shows, and the latest small screen triumph is our own pink and adorable Lulu Shags, who appeared on the May 5, 2014 episode of "Mike & Molly" with Melissa McCarthy.
You can read Lulu's press release here.
The episode, titled "Sex, Lies and Helicopters" had McCarthy's character Molly finding out her sister had a one night stand with her husband's police partner, Carl. Carl is notorious for becoming overly attached to women, while Molly's sister Victoria is notorious for not being attached to guys.

Lulu Shags plays the big pink teddy bear that Carl sends Victoria, proving he his indeed becoming attached in what was supposed to just be a casual one night stand. For the show, Lulu pretended that a song played when Molly pressed her paw.
Molly tries to make the song stop by laying on top of Lulu, wrestling with her, and finally ripping out the stuffing.
Lulu Shags wants to assure everyone that Melissa McCarthy is a talented and funny woman and that Lulu did her own stunt work in the scene. There was no bear hate involved!
At the Giant Teddy watching party, Lulu Shags downplayed her own risks, saying she was always in full control of the scene.
Lulu Shags has loved the spotlight ever since discovering her own talent for magic tricks as a young cub. Being on a hit TV show was a dream come true for her.
Her beautiful soft pink fur really looked great on camera, and Lulu would love to do another show someday, or maybe even be a judge on a reality TV talent show featuring magic or dancing.
Lulu Shags has a special place in her heart for kids and animals. She loves to rally bear donations for children's hospitals so the kids have a furry friend by their side, and she hopes to one day lend her new fame to helping raise awareness for animal kindness events at shelters.
Asked about her co-stars, Lulu Shags raved about the talent on set. She particularly loves Melissa McCarthy but found Billy Gardell to be adorable and of course the legendary Swoosie Kurtz to be - well, legendary even though they didn't share a scene.
Lulu denied that she was renting a mansion in Beverly Hills, saying she plans to stay with her bear friends and family at Giant Teddy in between starring roles.
If you want to send a star like Lulu Shags to someone who loves pink, is a fan of Melissa McCarthy's or of the show "Mike & Molly" or you just need a big teddy bear to make your own life complete, be sure you stop by and see her at GiantTeddy.com and read her Bear Paw Walk of Fame page.
