On some calendars it is today, October 14th and on some it was Sunday October 11th, but why not celebrate it more than one day?

Giant Teddy bears love going to work, and they have one of the best jobs in the world: making people smile.

Teddy bears are huggable and adorable and RARELY bring office drama (unless they steal your lunch - you do have to watch out for that) so we highly recommend having one in your office to bring up morale. It's hard to be a grump around a big cuddly teddy bear!

Giant Teddy Bears Race for the Cure: Komen OC 2015

Team Giant Teddy: Bears & Humans Racing for a Cure at the 2015 Susan G. Komen OC event

On a beautiful Sunday in late September, Team Giant Teddy participated in the Susan G. Komen OC Race for the Cure event here in California as part of our Breast Cancer Awareness campaign this year.

Lady Cuddles fell in love with this adorable little pink car in the parking garage and never even made it to the race. We had to tell her it wasn't in fact for her to drive home... even if she's big enough to reach the pedals!

Team Giant Teddy gathered in the new Komen OC Team Tailgate area before the race. The bears said we need to get a team tent for next year so they can really get our team spirit going.

All our humans had a great time this year, and were happy some of our smaller bears could make it out and join us during the race (the biggest teddy bears cheered us on from the office and the sidelines.)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Giant Teddy is lending our Pink Paws to the Cause again this year with Susan G. Komen Orange County as part of our commitment to give back to our community through our special cause teddy bears.

10% of all Pink Teddy Bear sales will be donated in October.

Cancer is sad, and our bears want people to be happy. That means we need to find a cure - and a cure for one cancer will open the door to cure ALL cancer. And that is a very happy thought.

You can pick from any of our adorable huge pink teddy bears in lots of sizes and 5 different styles, with or without one of our special "Pink Paws for the Cause" shirts.

Our pink teddy bears range in size from 18in all the way up to 6ft tall, so there's a size and style perfect for everyone but they do have a few things in common - unbelievably soft and stuffed with extra love and care.

Girls of all ages lose their hearts to our light and hot pink teddy bears, and they can be a beary special gift for a breast cancer survivor, a friend or family member, or a chemo buddy for someone going through treatment.
